I decided to make a separate page for the trip in Florida, because there are 46 images and it can take a while to download.

Let do USA sme mali z Londyna. Po nastupeni do lietadla sme museli cakat hodinu, kym vyriesia problem s motorom. Ja som napeto ocakaval nas odlet a zrazu vidim ze sa k nasmu lietadlu hrnie par poziarnickych aut. No nebolo nam vsetko jedno, ale 5 minut po ich prichode sme odleteli. Neviem ci vobec prisli kvoli nam alebo lietadlu co parkovalo vedla nas.

Our flight to USA from London started with one hour sitting and waiting in the airplane, and hoping that the problem with the engine will be solved. Suddenly few fire trucks approached our airplane, but no panic. We left 5 minutes later, and we are back at home, safe and warm.

First week of our trip we lived in Vanja’s apartment. Thank you Vanja for your care. You were all great and it was nice to get to know you.

First days we spent in Tampa shopping with Miriam and Miriam (small one) and Teitur. Miriam was helping Maj with finding all the great cheap things worth of purchase and Miriam Junior and Teitur were navigating us to the shopping malls. I was trying to convince my wife that we do not have to buy everything what cost under 5 dollars and also that we are limited not really by money, but by weight our airline carrier allows on board. Not that we are millionaires, but the more you buy in USA, more you save in Faroe Islands.

One of my cousins live in Tampa with her husband. They invited us for a dinner to downtown in Tampa. Thanks guys. It was nice to spend evening with you.

Florida is land of the amusement parks. They’re everywhere. In Tampa we visited Busch Gardens, what is a kind of ZOO, and amusment park mixed together.

Rollercoster, the scariest one we tried in Florida, probably because it was one of the first ones we tried. After while you get used to them and nothing can scare you anymore.

After few days in Tampa we went to Orlando. The first day we have visited Sea World. Both of us agree that this was the best park of all, which we have visited in Florida. There were so many amazing shows and wonderful aquariums.

The stadium was full of people. We were visiting at the time, when there are least of guests. I was always wondering how it had to be, to be there in summer. Waiting in lines for few hours. I wouldn’t like to try that.

Next day we went to Islands of Adventure. It was mostly park full of roller coasters.

Maj couldn’t to resist to feed some animals. Even it wasn’t allowed and I was still hungry.

Another day we went to Universal studios, which was a theme park. There were some roller coasters based on the movies which Universal studios has produced and also some shows, like Fear Factor live, and we were also part of creating a disaster movie. But we weren’t allowed to take photographs while playing in the movie.

It is quite impressive how Americans can create all the different scenes. You look to the right, you can see the skyscrapers, turn your head to the left and you are in Scandinavian village.

And another park again. How would it be if we didn’t visit any Disney park, while in Orlando. We choose to visit Epcot park, which is partially about science and then there is a “World Showcase”.

As it was getting darker, the park came alive by the game of the lights.

The day in the Epcot park ended with spectacular fireworks show. I hide my camera in my bag and decided to enjoy the fireworks, but I couldn’t resist, and had to take the camera out, even I missed half of the show, because I had a problems of finding the camera in our messy bag.

They even got a legoland in Orlando. No wonder that lot of Americans do not own a passport. They can see the world in USA. Anyway I would rather prefer the real thing.

We spent our last day in Orlando in Sea World again. Here are some more pictures from there.

Last days of our holiday we lived with parents of Noah. They also took a good care about us, and we felt most welcomed in their house. Thank you.

We had a nice time in Florida and hope we will be able to come back one day, with our children and stay for much longer.
