Category Archives: Events There was a children’s cultural day in Tórshavn on Saturday and we visited Jensina’s show. Laila and Maj were enjoying the show, and Erika was little bit careful and standing behind, but she liked it as well. On Sunday after visiting the church and Sunday school, we went for a trip to park to feed some...  There was a beneficial concert on Saturday, in the nordic house in Tórshavn. There were 12 different artists and groups participating. 267.000 danish crowns were collected so far, to support building of school in Ghana and Liberia. I have been very busy lately with different things at our home, and also I was on business trip in Denmark and holiday in Ireland. But I am still alive and going strongjust very very busy. by Martin no comments  There was a Faroese National festival “Ólavsøka” last week. Second night of Ólavsøka people meet in the centrum of Tórshavn at midnight to sing together and to dance faroese chain dance. Of course I was there to take some pictures. After the singing was finished, there were fireworks. by Martin no comments  V juni sme boli na firemnom vylete na ostrove Skuvoy. Vylet sa zacal rano o 7.00 cestou na Skuvoy, kde na nas cakali ranajky a potom sme sa vydali na malu turu cez ostrov. Navstivili sme muza, ktory pocita vtaky a potom sme vysli na najvyssi vrch ostrova, ktoreho nadmorska vyska bola nieco vyse 400m.... by Martin no comments |
